I am so proud and inspired by my amazing colleague and friend Timothy Welsh seeing his book Mixed Realism: Video Games and the Violence of Fiction in print from the University of Minnesota Press. I look forward not only reading it and adding it to my shelves but also to teaching it and using it in my own research. It is a good luck charm for the day I will finish and see my own book in my hands.
