My days of travel continue as I head to Chicago to attend the Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association (now shortened to PCA) annual conference. I haven’t been in a few years, and since it was so close, I decided it was time to reconnect with the Game Studies Area folks. Myself, Peter McDonald, Zach Horton, and Ashlee Bird will be reprising the panel we did for SLSA 2024 (which reminds me that I need to post my slides).
Moreover, I have an opportunity to do a quick dog and pony show at the University of Chicago thanks to the generosity of Ashlyn Sparrow, Assistant Director of the Weston Game Lab. It will be my first time visiting the university! More details soon.
