I am headed up to Oregon State University to give a talk and workshop at the 2016 Oregon Students of Color Conference. The organizers said that my workshop “#WeNeedDiverseGames” at the Oregon Student Equal Rights Alliance Symposium garnered a lot of positive feedback and they wanted me to repeat the program at for OSCC. Given the current local, regional, and national climate (post-US election), I am really happy and honored to talk to area students of color, particularly about race, gender, and sexuality in digital games (and other media).
