I do not use Twitter that often except for mostly teaching announcements, live-tweeting at conferences or talks, and signal-boosting things that I think are newsworthy or necessary. Most of the time, I think my tweets just vanish into the digital ether–like a wish–which is totally fine. But occasionally, that wish gets answered and answered by someone I respect or geek out over.
