To my surprise, I have been awarded a SLSA Travel Award for the upcoming Society for Literature, Science and the Arts conference, this year in Milwaukee, WI, September 25-28, 2012. I will be presenting a paper on gamification and posthumanism. Thank you again to the SLSA!
Congratulations! On behalf of the Society for Literature, Science, and the Arts, I am glad to inform you that you have been designated to receive a 2012 travel subsidy to present your paper at the Milwaukee meeting.
Each travel award this year will take the form of a $200 US check, which will be presented at the Saturday business lunch. (The cost of this lunch is included in the registration fee.) If you cannot attend the lunch or if you withdraw from participating in the conference, please email me before the meeting.
