I just found out that I have been given a $250 SLSA Travel Award for the upcoming Society for Literature, Science and the Arts conference in Kitchener, Ontario, which will be September 22-25, 2011. I will be presenting a paper on a queer analysis of Bioshock. Thank you to the SLSA! That will definitely help get me there. Now, to come up with the rest of the funds needed.
