Three new Analog Game Studies collected essays are now live and available. One of the things I have been doing since coming on board as the Editor-in-Chief of AGS is to complete the set of collected volumes. The first four were done years ago. But now that we are working through the back catalog in order to migrate the essays from WordPress to eScholarship, this is an opportune moment to get the books done, too. Thanks to the AGS editorial board for their dedication and attention to detail. And thanks to Play Story Press for supporting the collection! PDFs of the books are Open Access, but print-on-demand versions are available, too.
We are working on the most recent essays and moving backward in time until all the volumes are done. I’ve actually had a lot of fun working on these–there is something meditative about preparing manuscripts. I also did all of the layout, including updating the covers!
