I have the great fortune of (finally) making it up to Ohio State University to do a talk for the Asian American Studies program. Thanks to Drs. Keita Moore and Joe Ponce for the invitation and making all of the arrangements. I will give a version of my “Gaming While Asian” talk, which is adapted from the essay of the same name that appears in Made in Asia/America: Why Video Games Were Never (Really) about Us (Duke University Press, 2024), edited by Tara Fickle and Christopher Patterson. My talk is on Thursday, November 13, 2025, in 311 Denney Hall. Then, on Friday, I will do a more informat chat with faculty and graduate students about my other/current work. It is a really great opportunity, and I am excited to visit OSU–I have never been to the campus even though I have been in Ohio for a while now.
