ERE ARE PHOTOS FROM THIS YEAR'S SEATTLE LGBT PRIDE, which was the last weekend in June. Greg and I went out for some of the fun. We went out Saturday night to the bars (nothing like San Francisco's Pink Saturday, though). Then Sunday morning we went downtown for the Pride parade. It was fun (though I've been to so many Prides that they all seem the same to me). It was Greg's first Pride. I think he enjoyed himself. He was amazed, titallated, and a little overwhelmed. The weather was really nice, really warm, which meant a lot of half-naked bodies. One day I hope to hit up some other "important" Prides like in New York or Sydney or Amsterdam.

I even got to ride the Seattle Monorail for the first time. (It's always broken whenever I've tried to ride it in the past.)

ERE ARE SOME SNAPS OF MY JULY 4TH. My friends Steven and Julia live on a street near Lake Union that decided this year to throw a block party for the Fourth of July. It was madness. Fun once the beer kicked in. But there were carnival games, hot dogs and popcorn, all sorts of grilling, a live DJ, a water slide, and of course, lots to drink. Ten bucks got us all the beer we wanted. Then when it got dark, we had a good view of the fireworks over the lake.
