The following online journal entries are from March 1998. They are taken from older version of my website. |
6:44 PM. First and foremost, I wish to apologize to those friends and folks out there that have dutifully kept up with my online journal. The month of February was a whirlwind of activity -- school went into full swing, work piled up, duties to certain organizations became more demanding, and my personal life waxed toward the deeply introspective. Therefore, I've kept things very quiet on my web page. But now I'm in a slightly better place. I'm trying very hard to budget my energy better. Though, I am really busy with teaching, working with my campus's LGBA, and doing the normal day-to-day things. Plus, I've just got a lot -- a whole lot -- on my mind. Sadly, this entry is going to be woefully short. This week will probably pass quickly without report. By the weekend, though, I'll have plenty to talk about. I certainly will do my best to record some of what is going on in my life here. Till then, adieu.
11:01 AM. Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone! Erin go brah! All that good stuff. I'm so happy that I get to go out and do a little reveling tonight. I need it. Happy birthday to my friend Christopher Morrison, too. Bye.
12:41 AM. It's very late on Thursday evening. Either that or very early Friday morning. Fortunately for me, I don't have to be up early tomorrow. I cancelled my classes. I knew that my students would be half gone by tomorrow since Spring Break is next week. So, why bother trying to lead a horse (much less half of one) to water. I could use the extra time myself. I've got a lot running around in my head. But, not of it seems crystal clear enough to work through. I'm tired now. I wasn't a half hour ago. But, I think I'm ready to get to sleep. I'll continue this entry on the morrow. |
